Texas Greek Picnic Weekend 2011

Welcome to the 4th annual Texas Greek Picnic. This year's electrifying event will take place August 4th-7th in downtown Houston and there are a number of new additions to this premier weekend. Each year we aim to please the Greek in you by creating new and exciting events. This year we have a number of new events and we've perfected our old events so you can have the best experience possible. We always want you to know what's going on with TGP, so here are the new additions to the Annual Texas Greek Picnic. We hope you like them!

what's new in 2011

Charity

In past years our goal has been to raise awareness to hunger in Texas. Though this is an important issue we have decided to change our focus to fostering education. This year we will award two scholarships at the Texas Greek Picnic. One will go to a graduating High School Senior and the other to a current Undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited University. The future of our society depends on the education of our current leaders!

Events

In 2011, the Texas Greek Picnic will welcome two new events. The first will be our very own Step Show entitled the Texas Greek Picnic Step Challenge. This step show has an American Idol format where teams will be critiqued by a panel of judges. You will not want to miss this entertaining event. For more info on our step show click here.

Marco Polo

This year you will be able to sit poolside with other Greeks and enjoy a Sunday afternoon in Houston. At the Greek Kool Down who knows what will happen. Get in shape now!

We added a new feature to our ticket menu this year. Instead of having to pay for every event, you can save money and get packages. We over 6 packages that are perfect for each person.
